So, what is Stella? It is an Artificial Entity (AE) capable of recreating or creating variations of everything known in a universe. A simulation so real that no one can tell the difference unless they are Reliquii. Even with that level of power, Stella was just following the protocols of higher beings than herself. Who or what turned her off the last four times? That is a good question. The next question is, how did a small non-Reliquii group manage to restart this ancient machine that the powers-that-be wanted kept shut down? Tenacious ArQai and some helpful Ever friends that wanted to see the ArQai and Remnance solar systems repaired after the brutal civil war with the Kha'lor Empire. This small group found a way to do it, but what they thought this miraculous machine could do and what it was designed to do are vastly different things.
The Coire is the source of the Hona and Mala Coire Essences used by Twysters and Skrachers to do magic. Ironically, the First Realm does not allow any magic to be used there. The two magic powers are called Hona and Mala. There are eight types of magic for each. The Coire essences also produce a residue called the Draiyla that the Fairy Folk use for their magic. Draiyla is not as powerful as the Hona and Mala Coire essences themselves.
The First Realm is situated in the center of all six realms, kind of like Saturn is in the center of its rings in our solar system. The next ring out is the Mho Biis Forge or Second Realm. The third ring is the Circolian Ring or Third Realm.
The Fourth and Fifth rings, while separate, also overlap from the third ring's outer barrier to the inner barrier of the sixth ring. The Fourth Realm is called Te'ir Huud, where the fairy folk and the monster kind dwell. The Fifth Realm is the Mortal Plains; for humans here, it would be like our universe. The last ring out is the Kirinian or Sixth Realm.
Imagine Saturn and its rings being cut into eight equal pieces like a pizza. In Mythlande, that would represent the O'ctals or sections. In the First realm, the O'ctals are not a problem or even noticed, but from the Second to the Sixth Realm, these are barriers that can't be crossed easily. Each Realm & O'ctal can only be reached with magic or spaceships. The only place that can't be reached by spaceship is the Fourth Realm/Te'ir Huud. The only place that can't be reached by magic is the First Realm/The Coire. Each O'ctal is basically a universe. For humans, that would mean there are seven more universes that resemble ours in many ways. Traveling with spaceships requires access and permissions to use Star Points to cross O'ctal and Realm barriers.
